When she heard the final result, she was thrilled at the twist Harris put on her track.

"I never really saw it becoming a dance song," she explains. "I'm thrilled that it has. I was so ecstatic to hear that somebody else could make it even better!"

Before she knew it, Stevie was working with another mastermind: Karl Giant. Fresh off helming Ultra Naté's music video for "Automatic," a clip that is largely credited with reinvigorating Ultra's latest album, Giant was tapped to direct this teenage diva-in-training.

"It was amazing," says Stevie of the video shoot. "[Karl Giant] is absolutely fabulous. I've never worked with someone so visionary. He knows exactly what he wants from someone, and it's amazing."

The result was a glamorous video that put a fresh face to Stevie's song.  But the video performance isn't the only one heating up dance clubs across the country; though she's too young to go there on her own, Stevie has been hitting the stage to perform at clubs everywhere.

And though she's only 17, Stevie has the maturity and experience to keep her from going the way of… ahem… certain other club-hopping young ladies of the pop world. You know, the kind who shoot to the top of the tabloids more often than  the charts.

"I'm interested in getting attention," says Stevie with eloquence. "But I'm interested in getting the right kind of attention for the right reasons."

"I'm only 17, so I can't be in the clubs unless I'm performing," she continues. "That definitely helps keep me together. But my family is so supportive of my work and everything… they keep me together, too. If I started to get too big of a head, they would definitely let me know!"

Even more telling of her talent and professionalism, Stevie's favorite part of hitting the clubs has nothing to do with the bright lights, loud music, or ego-tripping: "The part I love most if getting to know my fans," she says. "I'm going on tour in February, and that's what I'm most looking forward to: getting out there and being with my fans."

Her fans will certainly be glad to have her. She plans to launch a February tour throughout major cities like New York, Miami and Chicago. Even better, it's rumored that fellow dance artists Jason Walker, Ultra Nate and Junior Vasquez have been approached to join the tour... however, none of these artists can confirm participation at this time.

That Stevie is already making efforts to align herself with the biggest names in the biz is a testament to her perseverance. But she has encouraging words for other young artists with their own eyes set on the stars:

"I want other people trying to break into this industry, and other young girls me, to know that it is hard at first. But if you keep working, you really will get there. Even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it. In the end, it's all worth it."

Wise words, from a young diva.

TRIVIA

Stevie has some kind words about her video director Karl Giant. Well, it seems Giant shares the sentiment. "She's a 17 year old diva!" he tells us. "She's one to watch!"

When it comes to movies, Stevie's favorites include "Peter Pan," the "Harry Potter" series and "Pride and Prejudice."

Stevie says her favorite class in school is also her least favorite: Government. "I get really passionate, but sometimes I feel like other people don't care about the problems we're facing globally."

She might be a dance diva, but Stevie is also a normal girl: her school courses include US Government, Astronomy, Independent Study and Theatre IV.\

When it comes to shooting the music video for "Seal the Deal," Stevie says that "the motorcycle was my favorite part… other than the kiss!" Well, that goes without saying!

Among her most influential music influences, Stevie cites Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler and Madonna.

Stevie is in talks with several producers to rerelease "Seal the Deal" in the style she originally intended – pure pop!

Stevie's definition of a DIVA: "A Diva is someone who is recognized for her talent, who has an effect on people's lives in a positive way, and has a message that other people can support.

Stevie's favorite part of life in Vegas: rollercoasters!
